Looking for a place to live in Miami has given us the feeling that we're trying to find a needle in a hay stack. It's not that they are lacking in apartments, we're just on a poor med student budget. Lets just say Miami is very proud of their rental properties. The cost of living is UNREAL!! If you know my husband, then you know that he has a very thorough list that has to be met.
Mine and Kyle's List.
1. Security, such as gated and a code to get in and out
2. washer/dryer "doesn't even have to be in the unit, just in our building"
3. allows pets
4. furnished
5. trying to find a 6 month lease. "is near to impossible"
6. within walking distance to potential work places for me.
7. In South Miami/Coral Gables
You would think this would be a reasonable list for somewhere to live for only six mouths of our lives. But we have not given up hope, the search is still on. Thank God my husband has perseverance and can multi-task.
