Second Semester, Mini 1 Done

Just got through with "hell week." That's what I call the week before every Mini. It's a very intense time for Kyle so he's happy to be done with it. Got the grades back today and he did very well. Yesterday was the big Beach Bash party that Ross throws after the first test of the semester. You get free t-shirts and food so you know we were there. Kyle loves getting free t-shirts. He has hundreds of t-shirts and always wants another one. It was nice to cut loose and see all of the students having fun with no worries. Today they were right back at it. No rest for the weary. As for me, I am so excited about my trip to Maine. I'll be headed to the states June 17th so be praying that my flight goes smooth and I get there safe. I can't wait to see my sisters and my nephew Abram. He is turning 1 on July 5th so I will get to be there. My Maine family has a big 4th of July party every year with lobster, so I can't wait. It's funny the things I am excited about most. Riding in a car, eating at an air conditioned restaurant, going to the grocery store, and going to Target. It's going to be like going to Disney World. I will probably be more patriotic this 4th of July than I have ever been. It took moving to a third world country for me to really understand what it means to live in America. Kyle and I just found out that we will be coming to Texas in August. He is so excited about it. All he talks about is playing golf and eating Mexican food. I can't wait to sit on the back porch at my grandparents house.
Anyways, enough for this post. I will try and post more often.
